learn how to Turn off or Disable AutoPlay Feature in Windows 7

What is Autoplay?, In Windows when u insert a boot able (CD,VCD,DVD) the program autostarts and start playing the contents in it, this all happens due to Autoplay Feature of windows, which guide the Operating system what you have to do every time we insert simliar media in the Computer or insert the device(USB).This feature is helpful sometime but sometime this feature guide towards some trouble, result in form of slowing down your computer, Thats why some user don't like this Feature to be enabled. I am writing a simple tutorial which will tell you how to Turn Off / disable the Auto play feature in windows with the help of following simple steps
First Method

1. Click Start menu.
2. Now use Windows+R to Start Run, type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
3. This command will result Local Policy Group Editor appears on your screen.
4. Now go to Computer Configuration – Administrative Templates – Windows Components on the left pane of window and click AutoPlay Policies.
5. On the right pane, click Turn Off Autoplay.
6. Now Select Enabled and under Options, select where you want to turn off AutoPlay. (All drives or CD-ROM and removable media drives.)
7. Click OK for the changes to take effect.
8. I would recommend you to restart your system once

Second Method

1. Click Start.
2. In the Search Field, type Autoplay and press Enter.
3. Now, simply uncheck the first option, namely, Use AutoPlay for all media devices if you want to disable AutoPlay.
