The Windows Explorer allows files to be renamed easily, by single clicking on the name and then editing it; however, this can be quite tedious if there are many files to be renamed. (Attempting to select a range of files and then using right-click + Rename doesn’t work. Only the last file in the range is renamed.) I am writing this tutorial which allows you to rename the multiple files in 2-3 Seconds, this tutorial will work on All windows Opreating system, like windows 7, Windows Xp, Windows Vista, Windows 2000. Just follow The Following Simple Steps to Rename All the files at once
- Open The Desired folder where you had Placed all the files you want to rename
- Select the files
- Press F2
- Type the Desired Name
- You are done all selected files are rename with ending with a unique Numeric Character
If you want to rename the files extensions at once try
- Go to run and type cmd
- Navigate to desired directory where you had placed all the files i am explaining it with Images and Executable files
- Type for renaming all the Setup Files at once
ren *.exe *.desiredExtention
ren *.jpg *.desiredExtenion
ren *.gif *.desiredExtention
