Did you know that they have interesting utilities, commands and shortcuts which are usually hidden to the regular user and that could greatly simplify our lives? In fact, all this stuff is nested among tricky Windows files and it is very difficult to spot unless you are a seasoned Windows users or a tech guy!
- Click Start.
- In the Search Field, copy and paste these command and hit Enter.
- System File Checker Utility (Scan Immediately your PC)- sfc /scannow
- System File Checker Utility (Scan Once At Next Boot)- sfc /scanonce
- System File Checker Utility (Scan at Every Boot) – sfc /scanboot
- System File Checker Utility (Return to the Default Setting)- sfc /revert
- System File Checker Utility (Purge File Cache)- sfc /purgecache
- System Information (Shows a detailed list of your computer specs) – msinfo32
- Windows System Security Tool (Encrypt your Account database) – syskey
- Windows Version (Shows you what version of windows you have got) – winver
- Regional Settings (shows what settings and language your computer is set) – intl.cpl
