How to Enable USB Ports in windows 7 m Windows XP

In fact, this method is used (among with other security limitations) to avoid espionage or more simply, to reduce the risk of infecting computers using unknown files installed by the user himself. 1. Click Start.
2. In the Search field, type regedit and press Enter.
3. Locate the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/UsbStor
4. In the right-pane, double-click the Start key to open it.
5. Change its hexadecimal value from 4 to 3.
6. Click OK.
7. Restart the computer for the change to take effect.
