If you think that Windows 7 has got too many animation effects which run a little too fast for your tastes, then I have found something which could really interesting you! In fact, this little hack is able to add to Windows 7 animation effects a slow down (slow motion) twist, just by pressing a button on your keyboard!
- Click Start.
- In the Search field, type regedit and press Enter.
- Locate the following Windows registry folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\ Windows\DWM
- Right-click on the right pane and from the menu select New – DWord (32-bit) Value.
- Name the new DWord AnimationsShiftKey .
- Double click the new registry key and change the value data to 1 (one).
- Click OK to confirm.
- Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
- Now, every time you are going to use any Windows 7 animation effect, simple press the shift key and apply the slow motion effect. (Ex.: Press Shift while in the Alt+Tab menu).
