How to use SSL sign in Feature in hotmail ( Windows Live )

SSL means Securing Sockets layers, this is used to provide extra security to communication on internet, previously Gmail, Yahoo was using this feature, but now hotmail has also introduced SSL Sign in Feature, this means we are now more secure while using hotmail, it is hard for hackers to hack hotmail account via cookies while we are logging in, previously hackers were able to easily encrypt the cookies. Secure Sockets Layer encrypts segments of network connections so that nobody will manage to understand the meaning of the communications sent (emails, chats, messages etc.).Now Let me till you how you can enable this SSL feature in hotmail now.

1. Open your Hotmail account.
2. After logging in you will see a new message which prompts you to enable and turn on the new Hotmail SSL feature.
3. Here Click the Always ue HTTPS (reccomended).
4. I will recommend you, as i had used this feature, click the next button (change your settings to always use HTTPS). This will permanently set your Hotmail account to use the SSL protocol.
5. Here, simply click the Use HTTPS automatically radio button.
6. Click the Save button.
