While staying in our network if we try to access our network printer which is connected to our network and pass a print command to the printer sometimes we got the error like “Windows Cannot Connect to the Printer” , "Access is Denied" or “Windows Cannot Connect to the Printer. Access is Denied”.
Firewall If you got the error message first goto system firewall and check either firewall is configured correctly or not. Try to look at File and Printer Sharing option which must be Set Allowed. To Check it follow the following steps
- This error may occur due to many reasons, most of the time it happens due to Wrong configuration of the Windows Firewall
- Anti virus,
- Wrong Printers Configuration.

- Click Start.
- Click Control Panel.
- Click Windows Firewall.
- Click Exceptions.
- Thick the File and Printer Sharing option.
- Try to add your network printer as a local printer. To do that, click Start.
- Click Control Panel.
- Click the Printer icon.
- Click Add a Printer.
- Click Add a Local Printer.
- Now, select Create a New Port and then type as Local Port. Click the Next button.
- In the Port name field, type your network path for the printer you want to use and click Next.
- At this point take your Printer CD containing your Printer drivers.
- Follow your computer instruction. (it should ask you to install your printer drivers).
- Done!
