How to Fix “Windows Installer Could not be Accessed” in Windows 7

Sometimes,while booting your computer, you might get the following error message: “Windows Installer Could not be Accessed”. No fear! Usually, this kind of issue is triggered by a program which didn’t close properly. Apply this simple trick to fix it!

1. Restart your computer in Safe Mode. To perform such action, press F5 reputedly while booting the operating system, right before the appearing of the Windows 7 logo.
2. Click Start.
3. In the Search field, type cmd and press Enter.
4. In the black DOS window, type msiexec\regserver and press Enter.
5. Restart your computer.
